TI Motel Torres Strait is a modern two story, 25 room motel convieniently located on the main street 50 mtrs from the beach.
All rooms have the following features: Split system air conditioners, ensuites, Fridge/freezer, Microwave, Large smart TV, Foxtel, free WiFi, desk and chairs, all crockery and cutlery, microwave safe dishes, Iron and board, hair dryer, extra pillow, blankets.
Our reception is open Monday-Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm. Weekends 8.00am-12noon. For your peace of mind we have 24hr security cameras and a room key operated gated night entry. On-site vending machines & small shop for breakfast snacks, drinks, chips, chocolate & lollies.
TI Motel offers rooms with queen size and single bed options. Each room features an ensuite. We are a recently refurbished, spacious, 25 room motel.
We are open 7 days a week and offer after-hours check-in and assistance for those joining us late. Enjoy our stylish, clean and comfortable rooms that offer the perfect base for business or pleasure.

On arrival at Horn Island airport there are two bus/ferry companies you can choose to transport you to Thursday Island. On board the ferry request a complimentary transfer to drop you to TI Motel Torres Strait at 127 Douglas St Thursday Island where TI Car Hire is also located.
If arriving Via Peddells Ferry from Seisia our Motel is a short walk along the lovely waterfront or a taxi is available on 40692655.
Check out time is 10.00 am. Check in after 1.00pm. After 5.00pm please contact office 40692815. Baggage storage is available on request.
We ask all guests to conserve water and electricity. Please notify on-site reception staff if anything needs to be attended.
Rooms are serviced every day where possible Monday-Saturday. No service on Public Holidays.
TI Motel reserves the right to ask any person to leave the premises and cancel accommodation immediately for any of the following reasons:
Drunk and disorderly under the influence of illicit drugs excessive noise including music disturbing or harassing other guests mistreatment of property allowing unauthorised persons entering property exceeding maximum persons in the room.
Full payment for length of stay to be settled prior or upon arrival unless an account holder or previously arranged.
Any damage or theft of property or excess cleaning charges will be allocated to credit/debit card presented.
Any cancellations within 48 hours of check in will result in the required payment of one night accommodation. Cancelling during stay will incur 2 nights charge. When booking through a third party please make sure you understand their cancellation policy clearly as we are unable to process any refunds.
